Brooklyn Internship

Dear family and friends,
I am writing to let you know that I have been blessed with an invitation to participate a summer internship with Chosen People Ministries, an organization whose goal is to pray for, evangelize, disciple, and serve Jewish people everywhere and to help fellow believers do the same. The internship will take place in Brooklyn, New York, the home of nearly a million Jewish people, and will last eight to ten weeks. My responsibilities will primarily consist of researching and writing logical, sound arguments to Jewish objections to Jesus for a new website called Chosen People Answers.
I first discerned a calling to help the Jewish people to come to know Yeshua as Messiah when I went to Israel back in 2004. At first, I tried to start my own mission organization to evangelize the Jewish people. Eventually, I realized that I didn’t need to reinvent the wheel, and instead, I decided to try allowing God to chart the course! He led me to a Messianic Jewish congregation, where I got to minister to Jewish people every Saturday night for five years. God eventually led me away from that congregation, and for a season, this particular calling was placed on the backburner. Then, last summer, the Holy Spirit led me to leave a well-paying job to make more room for spiritual growth and ministry. I obeyed, and God has rewarded my act of faith by providing a full-time position at my church and now this opportunity to return to Jewish ministry.
I would deeply appreciate your supporting me in this endeavor. Most importantly, I need your prayer. My best efforts will be useless without the guidance and anointing of the Spirit of God, so please commit to interceding for me throughout this journey.
Secondly, I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me financially. I am responsible for raising $2,500.00 to cover expenses directly related to my internship. Lastly, since my participation in this internship will require my taking a leave of absence from my job, I will be setting up a Go Fund Me account for those who wish to help me pay my regularly recurring bills such as insurance and rent, which I anticipate costing an additional $3,087.00. I can imagine few greater privileges than getting to work alongside like-minded believers to spread the Gospel by overcoming objections to Yeshua’s Messiahship. Thank you in advance for supporting me in bringing the light of the gospel to the Jewish people.
