Brooke to Battle Cancer

My best friend Brooke became a mother to a beautiful baby girl in February 2017. Her life was turned upside down in the most amazing way.
Unfortunately, before her daughter reached her first birthday, Brooke went to the doctor for a suspected slipped disc and was instead advised that she has stage 4 bowel cancer.
Brooke is determined to do the very best that she can to fight this disease, recover fully, and continue being a fantastic mum to her baby girl.
For this type of cancer in Australia, chemotherapy alone has only got a 2% success rate of Brooke being alive after 5 years. In the UK the success rate is 5%.
Brooke has researched treatments available for her cancer and found facilities that have had huge success in curing it over the last 60-80 years. In order to receive the treatments she desperately needs though, she will need our support. Costs for medical treatments overseas are high and whilst she has found a treatment plan she is comfortable with, she is not currently financially able to 'go for it'.
My friend has found a facility offering a combination of 'traditional' cancer treatments alongside 'alternative' medication, and the cost is approximately $10,000 USD per week plus flights, accommodation, diagnostics, medication etc The treatment should last for 5/6 weeks.
Our goal of includes the fee taken by Go Fund Me and is £45,000. Our original target was £25,000 which we smashed in only 4/5 days, although since speaking with the Dr’s in Mexico, they have recommended a more reputable hospital to go to for the more intense part of the treatment which will last for 6 weeks and then Brooke’s condition and her response to treatment will be reviewed.
Please, PLEASE, dig deep and help my friend fight this horrible disease so that she can watch her baby girl grow up and continue to be the vivacious and loving girl we know.
No one deserves cancer and I know it affects so many people who we hold close to our hearts. Please help my friend try everything she can to get better.
