Brontë Morris Designer Fashion Label

Brontë Morris is a designer women’s clothing label that caters to the individual. There are so many different individual ways we express ourselves with fashion and so many different styles I couldn’t possibly tie myself down to just one. But, if I had to name a few I guess I would say there is a bit of the 50s/60s, 80s, a touch of the 1900 and 20s, a sprinkle of fantasy, clean cut lines with a loud splash of mad hatter tea party patterns and colors. But that’s just my summer  range I am also working on a very elegant and sexy lingerie line using influences from 1920s -1950s with luxurious fabrics. 

But Brontë Morris is not just a company creating clothing  I also have big big plans to set the hole company up to be one of the few all Australian Fashion Houses hiring fashion students and creating more jobs in the Australian Fashion / Textile industry!

For the past 7 years Brontë Morris Label has been in the research and development stage to fully develop my designing skills and now it's finally ready to be shared with the world. This is not a fast fashion brand, quality fabrics will be used and close attention to detail.

The funding will go towards patternmaking, grading, samples, materials, production, marketing and branding over the space of a year. There are around 20 different designs in each range in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12 & 14 as well as some capital ranges in sample sizes. The label will not be limited to just day wear. There will be touches of swimwear and evening wear as well as lingerie pieces. A men's line is also within my sights for the future! The garments will initially only be available online and stocked in selected stores on consignment but I am also aiming to open a brick and mortar boutique in the years ahead.
