Thank you so much for visiting, this go fund me page is for Brittney (McCague) DeSantis.
We are hoping that you will help us raise funds for Brittney and her ongoing necessity for assistance.
Brittney was a perfectly healthy, energetic, 33 year old lively young woman, wife and mother of a two year old daughter. She was in the midst of creating a successful career which was her passion.
In February of 2017 Brittney went through a catastrophic sudden life changing affliction during her last pregnancy which left her completely paralyzed from the waist down. She lost her beautiful son, who did not make it to full term and lost all her independence and became bound to a wheelchair.
Brittney spent months in the hospital, undergoing rehabilitation in order to cope with this devastating physical loss.
Arriving home to her husband and their daughter, Brittney’s challenges and trials became reality. Not only does Britt need daily physical therapy but it has become a vital part of her existence. The cost of her physiotherapy is greater than her ability to earn a living.
Aside from her day to day physical trials, she is met with additional challenges such as inadequate access into and out of her home along with being limited to her main level.
Her strength and courage from the beginning has been an example for so many people amidst the barriers she faces for the rest of her life. Her strength not only comes from the members of her family, friends, Parish and community, but from the peace of God. The constant prayers that stream in from all of those around her have been a blessing and given her the gift of patience and perseverance.
With your help we can make a difference and allow all things to become capable and limitless for Brittney and her family. We will change her living discomforts and accessibility so that her home and medical concerns can be attained.
