Stanton - Building a Legacy of LIFE
As many of you know, I am a volunteer with Stanton Healthcare, a Life-affirming medical clinic that specializes in unplanned pregnancies, here in Boise. Recently we acquired an amazing state of the art building that is right next door to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the world. (91% of all abortions in the state of Idaho happen in this county.) A major Foundation told us if we raised $170,000 toward the purchase of the clinic by August 2 they would give us an $80,000 matching grant. That is an $80,000 gift! We are now only $8,000 away. So we are asking you, to help Stanton realize this miracle.
I am praying that I can help raise $1,500!
I know money is tight, and for some, all that you may be able to give is $5, $10, or $20. Others may be able to donate $50, $100, $500 or even more toward this incredible lifesaving ministry, but I encourage you to honestly look at your finances and see what you can donate. This isn't just money for a building, it's a strategic location that has already saved lives! Since opening in our new location in October, we've had MANY confirmed walk-in saves. Girls who had scheduled appointments for abortions at Planned Parenthood saw our signs, came in, got free ultrasounds and counseling, and chose life for their babies. (AND their mothers are saved from the emotional scars that abortion leaves.)
Because we are a non-profit and offer our services at NO CHARGE to our clients, owning this building debt free would enable us to continue putting all our resources into operating cost and the services that we offer!
Stanton is a powerful, public witness to Idaho and the nation that the faith community doesn't speak out on the issue of abortion with judgment and condemnation. Rather, we embrace a hurting and broken world with God's grace and mercy. The women of Idaho will now be offered "real choices" when it comes to unexpected pregnancies. The work of Stanton Healthcare is so powerful and moving that Pat Robertson and the 700 Club recently send out a news crew out to Boise from Washington, D.C. to do a national feature story on the clinic.
We believe God is raising up Stanton Healthcare to be a national model that will one day replace Planned Parenthood!
Even though the hours can be long and the struggles intense, there is nothing like holding a precious child in your arms that would not have lived without your intervention. The picture on my page is "Baby Nilah" who was saved through the work of Stanton Healthcare. Words cannot express the joy one fells as they realize this child will grow up to experience a life of purpose and meaning.
