I created this GoFundMe for a family friend, Brittany. She is in the final stages of a devastating health crisis. Just three months ago, her life took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn and no one was aware of the situation until it was to late. Her liver is now functioning at 0%, and her kidneys and other organs are quickly failing. After weeks of fighting, hospital stays, and painful declines, Brittany is bedridden and unresponsive. Her care team had hoped to send her home and spend her remaining time surrounded by loved ones, but she will be sent home with hospice, as they will help make her last days more comfortable.

Brittany is only 36 years old, and she has a 14-year-old son who adores her and needs every bit of love and support we can offer. Her family is doing everything they can to be by her side, to comfort her, and to prepare for what no one should ever have to face.

This GoFundMe is being created to help cover:

-End-of-life care and hospice support

-Final expenses, including funeral and memorial costs

-Support for her son, both emotionally and financially, as he navigates life after the unimaginable

-Time off work, travel, and caregiving needs for her family, who are trying to spend every possible moment with Brittany

Brittany is known for her strength, her sense of humor, and her fierce love for her family and friends. She deserves dignity, comfort, and peace in her final days, and her loved ones deserve the chance to say goodbye without the added weight of financial worry.
