Please help support us to try and find Keion Dade. The search has recently been called off, and we want to raise money to help his father hire professional divers and return his son safely. We will also take volunteers that are professional divers to support our fund. Thank you to all who are willing to help and all the support and preyers.
On 06/10/2021 at around 6:00pm, my son Keion was aboard the Catalina Express while en route to Catalina Island. As we await camera footage from the perimeter of the boat we are still uncertain of the details surrounding his disappearance and what led up to it.
Keion went overboard approximately 3 miles from the shore in Long Beach, CA and was last seen in the general area asking for help before descending into the water. The life saving ring that was thrown out to him was recovered along the shore in Huntington Beach, CA. The US Coast Guard along with other law enforcement agencies assisted with the search and rescue effort but called off the search after 24 hours. My family and I have continued to search day in and day out, but we are in desperate need of resources that could assist us with locating our loved one. We are asking for any type of monetary donation that would allow us to purchase underwater drones, dive teams, and boat rentals. Keion is a beautiful soul; he is smart, kind, and loved by so many. He is a son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and cousin to so many. We are not giving up on locating him and we will continue to have faith until he is found. We would be eternally grateful with any amount that anyone is able to give, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and God bless. Parents, Kiyam Dade, Bernadette Dade Andrews, and step mother Starr Codd will be utilizing funds for search efforts. Payments will be directly made to search companies or sent to Kiyam and or Bernadette Dade to cover search and recovery efforts in addition to ceremony of life services.
