It's Going Home - Supporting South Africa

As a group of South Africans, we can’t help but feel a little helpless living abroad while our friends and family back home are left feeling terrified, having to face this unprecedented struggle. The longing to be at home and to help protect it alongside our communities has never felt as real as it does today.

But in true Mzansi spirit, we witness the incredible resilience and coming together of our communities in South Africa to clean up and rebuild.

And our next step will be to recover small businesses. Small business owners and their employees need our help to recuperate, bring back livelihoods and stimulate communities that have lost everything. Let’s re-empower the courageous ones who have made sacrifices, taken risks and displayed colossal dedication.

These heroes need our help, and here’s where we can lend a hand from abroad. We ask for your support in helping us raise funds to support the small business owners rebuild all that they have lost during these desperate times. 

We have partnered with two non-profit organisations in South Africa who are working on the ground in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Alexandra to assess the impact on businesses and distribute funds accordingly. The Spiritual Council and Rays of Hope will be ensuring that funds are spent to help business owners that are most in need to get back on their feet. So far we expect to assist businesses in replacing stock, repairing property, paying salaries as well as repairing and replacing equipment.

Let’s do our bit from afar to help rebuild our beautiful country. We will always stand together, even when we’re apart.
