Leah's Medical Brigade to Quito

Donation protected
My name is Leah Siegel-Reamer and I am a current senior at Clark University. I am one of the founders and the president of Clark’s chapter of Timmy Global Health.

Timmy is a large international non-profit organization. Timmy works to maintain relationships with partner organizations located all around South America. The main purpose of Timmy’s involvement abroad is to provide sustainable access to primary care to those who would otherwise not have access to it. About every two months, a college chapter travels to its partner city for a week long medical brigade. The college chapter is responsible for gathering medical supplies (primarily multivitamins, NSAIDS, Tylenol, etc.) and recruiting medical professionals and orchestrating a trip to the partner city. Clark’s chapter is partnered with Tierra Nueva in Quito, Ecuador. Here’s a link to tell you a little bit more about our partnership with Tierra Nueva: partnership .

Unfortunately, the cost of this trip is too high for me to manage. I would greatly appreciate any help for funding this trip. During my trip to Quito, I hope to learn more about health disparities around the world. I also hope to learn more about our own health care field here in the states, and the parallels between the communities.
Again, any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
