Send Brian on a Medical Mission Trip

Donation protected
In 2007, Brian was getting ready for a 2-week missions trip to Senegal, Africa. He was $263 short on funding the trip, but by faith, He knew that somehow God would come through. Just days before the money was due, a woman from his church came by his house, knocked on the door, and simply gave him what she could. Guess how much it was! Yep"”$263 exactly!

Because of a blessing from God, Brian was off to Senegal, Africa. The missionary who led Brian and his team was a local in Senegal, so they spent time in places that missions groups usually don't get to go or do things groups usually don't get to do:visit rural villages, take public transportation, shop in the market, play with the children, and truly get to know the people and their culture.

During the trip, the team set up a medical clinic with the supplies they brought over with them. People traveled days to visit the clinic. As the sun went down, many were still standing in long lines"”waiting hopefully for help. So Brian and his team started up the van to shine the headlights into the clinic, committed to serving patients late into the night. It was on that trip that God spoke clearly to Brian. His calling was the medical field.

Fast forward 6 years. Since that life-changing trip to Africa, Brian has moved from Chicago to St. Louis, earned a Bachelors degree, got married, had 2 children, and moved locally 3 times. Unfortunately, when mission trip opportunities came up, he had to turn them down because of his school schedule and the endless hours studying, including missing out on time with his family. But it's all about to pay off! He's graduating from nursing school on December 15 of this year! No doubt he has sacrificed a lot in the last 5 years and has worked hard to say the least.

As a gift to Brian for his hard work and sacrifice, Zoe and I are raising money to send him on his first medical mission trip as a nurse to El Salvador. All funds raise will go towards, which the cost of airfare, ground transportation, medical supplies, lodging, meals, permit requirements, and other visa requirements necessary. Each supporter's name will be written into a card given to Brian on graduation day. If you would like to help make the missions trip happen and be part of this surprise gift for Brian, please give what you can. Every donation is a blessing and is greatly valued.

Thank you so much! We appreciate your support, and we know Brian will too! God Bless.
