Help Brian Get a Liver Transplant

My name is Brian Kesselring and I have End-Stage Liver Disease. I have almost died twice while fighting this illness and only a liver transplant will save my life. I won’t explain my disease in painful detail because honestly, you don’t want to know. Instead, I humbly request your help.
I just want to live my life without this horrendous disease so that I can continue to create my love inspired art, poetry, music and writings, to make this world a better place for as long as possible. I am a fighter and I cannot let this disease win. Life is too beautiful and I'm not done living yet.
I need a liver transplant and it costs upward of $735,000 in the first year alone (Source: National Foundation for Transplants ). This is then followed by a lifetime of tens of thousands of dollars per year for medications and follow up care. As it is, our healthcare system is incredibly broken. Its dirty little secret is that even if you go to an in-network ER or hospital, a large portion of the doctors, radiologists, technicians, etc who work there DO NOT ACTUALLY WORK FOR THE HOSPITAL! They are contractors and they do NOT take insurance. Not one of the doctors who saw me at the ER turned out to be in-network, and, even worse, they are the ones who then get assigned to manage my case throughout each entire hospital stay. Many of the specialists who saw me daily throughout each of my hospital stays turned out to be out-of-network contractors! The massive bills I later received were completely unexpected and outrageous. I have applied the GoFundMe funds received to those bills anew still have unpaid medical bills in the five figures!
I desperately need financial help in order to continue the fight for my life. I can’t work and am already in debt from the uninsured portions of my medical bills to date. My fiancé and caregiver, Emily, couldn't work for a year because she was taking care of me 24/7 during the worst of it - which meant zero income for the both of us. We urgently need financial assistance to pay for the outrageous medical costs associated with pre-transplant, transplant and post-transplant care, as well as my oustanding medical debt and expenses.
Having been on the brink of death, I have become a new person. It changed me. All I see is beauty around me. All I carry is love in my heart. Every moment of every day, every breath I draw, is a gift. I need to share this love with every human being I can until my days are up. That is why I was put here. That is my purpose.
I have been blessed in more ways than I can count with a partner whom I adore. She has been my caregiver, my support, my muse, my infinite love, my everything. Emily is my rock. Hands down, meeting her and loving her has been the greatest gift of my life.

In the horrific event that I lose my fight to this horrendous disease, any remaining funds would go towards unpaid medical bills, funeral and burial costs. The remainder will be donated to the American Liver Foundation in my memory.
