Brett's Celebration Of Life

My father, Brett Shankel, has been fighting cancer since 2009. In 2016 after my mothers passing; we discovered that his cancer had moved to the bones and the need for aggressive treatment was clear. For the past two years my father has been undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, and several clinical trials to continue his journey with us. All the while being cared for and supported by his loving parents, Harry Shankel and Marlene Shankel. In August of this year his health took a turn for the worse, causing him and his family to make the difficult decision to stop all treatment. My father's ongoing battle with cancer is near the end. He is currently surrounded by many loved  ones and is spending his last days earth-side  resting comfortably in a peaceful environment. This go fund me account will be dedicated to a beautiful celebration of life following his departure. All donations received will be directed to the sole purpose of giving my father the memorial he deserves. Thank You very much for your love and support during this time.
