Brett's Medical Fund

As many of you know, Brett Henry (son of Del and Elaine Henry and brother to Meredith Rakey) has been diagnosed with Stage IV Non Hodgkin's Difuse B Cell Lymphoma at the end 2017.   He underwent surgery on Wednesday 1/10/18 for placement of a chemotherapy port.  Due to diesease involvement with his left hip, he underwent another surgery on 1/11/18  to put a pin in his hip and a rod in his thigh.  Doctors were concerned about the potentil of shattering his hip due to the weakened bones.  He will hopefully start the chemotherapy treatments on January 18th.   He is expected to be off work 5-6 months. First and foremost we welcome and are forever grateful for any and all prayers that will help us all get through this time.  We really don't know what all their needs will be, but we would like to lend our support as they work through this new reality.  Brett has consistently worked overtime to support his family.  Since he will be unable to work during his treatment, he will qualify for disability, but that will only cover approximately 50% of his full time pay (not including his overtime pay).  It is our goal to help reduce the financial stress on Brett so he can focus on getting well again.   Any donations received will go to support Brett and his family with mortgage payments, food, transportation expenses or anything they might need during this time.  Thank you in advance for your support, whether it be prayers, notes of support, or financial support.  We are optimistic for a complete recovery.
