Brent's Medical Fund

Earlier this month, my father Brent Harper was taken to the emergency room for what was thought to be a kidney pain ended up being much worse. On September 1st the CT scan revealed that Dad had an approximately 3cm mass tumor in the base of his right lung. It was also found that he had enlargement to the lymph node in his abdomen on the left side. On Sept. 5th it was confirmed to be cancer in the lung after a biopsy was performed. It was chosen at that point that dad would undergo treatment at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dad has recently seen his surgeon and the surgeon stated that dad will undergo what is called a lobectomy of the lower lobe of the right lung. We are still waiting on more scans to determine the rest of the treatment.

Dad retired from Honda last year with the intention of going back to work at some point but does not look like that will be case now. Mom is not with out her medical issues and is unable to work due to being limited of time on her feet due to an infection in her leg that doctors have stated will be there for potentially the rest of her life. They currently have no income coming into the house at all. We are setting up this fund to attempt to gain any assistance in setting up a fund to help with any medical bills and other needs they may have with dads treatment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
