Brent Bostrom's Cancer Treatment

In February 2016, Brent had a doctor's appointment to see about some unusual swelling in his abdominal/groin area and learned he had prostate cancer, and that it had already spread.

The past two years have been filled with chemo, radiation, an intense nutritional regimen, the sale of Boss Pumping, and starting work for the company that bought his business.

In the past two months, Brent has been experiencing increasing pain, which has become debilitating to the point he is  no longer able to work at his physically demanding job.

He was hospitalized for almost a week, and scans confirmed cancer activity was taking place again. A new oncologist has confirmed that Brent's type of cancer is aggressive, but he  believes they can work with him through hormone-blocking therapy to slow—and hopefuly stop—the progression.

So why a GoFundMe page? Since Brent is not able to work, the family's primary source of income has been stopped. Additionally, his recent hospital stay—and upcoming treatments—come with a daunting price tag. Friends of the Bostroms have set this up to help provide support until Brent can work again.
