Breast cancer stikes another woman. This time one of our own.
Meet Brenda (Sengstock) and Brian Wood. Their struggles began in the spring of 2014 with Brenda noticing a lump in her breast. Brenda found herself unemployed after 32 years due to a company closing. In a difficult situation, she searched for employment and put her health on the sideline. Brenda told herself that she would "deal with it in the fall". Fall came and Brian suffered his second heart attack. At the same time, Brenda's lump had grown larger and couldn't be sidelined any longer. She is currently in stage 3 breast cancer. The cancer is aggressive and she has started chemotherapy. She also has multiple surgeries in her future.
The money raised will go towards medical expenses incurred as well as living expenses during this difficult time. Their bills are already over $14000.00. We want to help them as much as we can.
