My sister Brenda Greenwood is a talented and caring woman in her early forties. She is a mother of two wonderful boys (10 and 8 years old) and has been happily married to her husband Bernhard for 13 years.
Sadly, for the past 4 years she has been struggling with a rare neuro-muscular disease (a type of muscular dystrophy) that over time has taken away her ability to work in her chosen field as a music teacher, to be an active mother and to function in everyday life. Recently she was given the horrifying news by doctors that she is at the end stages of neuro muscular disease. She and her family are devastated.
Brenda has now lost a lot of mobility, must use a feeding tube and is having problems breathing. The family is asking for help to cover the extra costs of care and comfort for Brenda and to help support her during this difficult time.
