In conjunction with the US National Disability awareness month, and to help raise awareness for the sizeable Special Needs community where Jamie and Hannah live in Asia, Jamie will attempt to summit Ama Dablam, a 6812m/22,349 ft mountain in Nepal's famed Everest-Khumbu region.  Ama Dablam is a classic Himalayan climb, and one of the most sought-after peaks in the world, testing all of a mountaineer's skills.  100 percent of the proceeds from this GoFundMe will be used to help Jamie and Hannah and their company Blue Panda™ hold a Special Olympics for the children of a local Chinese parent support group that they are a part of along with their youngest son, a non-verbal 8-year-old boy with significant special needs.  Their company, Blue Panda™, is a social enterprise that provides information, resources, and community to families living in China raising a child with special needs.

Jamie and Hannah, along with their three kids, have lived in China for many years.  Despite their youngest son's ADHD, Apraxia, and Developmental Delay diagnosis, he can run really fast and swim like a fish.  Jamie dreams of him dominating a Triathalon one day, as soon as the training wheels come off the bike!  For more information on the proposed Special Olympics budget of $3200 feel free to email or FB messenger me.  Thanks guys!
