Mental Health Awareness ‘Baton Relay’

Blue ‘Lyke’ Walk on 12th August 2017

To raise awareness of mental health, Cleveland Police officers, staff and volunteers are taking on a 40 mile ‘Blue Lyke Walk’ challenge from Osmotherley to Ravenscar on Saturday 12th August 2017.

The walk will be completed in one day with the walkers starting their journey in the early hours. The main purpose of the mental health baton relay is to engage staff, and the public, in events to get people talking about mental health. The baton’s journey commenced on Saturday 29th April from Blackpool’s promenade.

Cleveland Police will be raising money for two nominated charities, Mind and Heads Together.
