The Blue Lotus Sanctuary

Hiya everybody! Thank you for visiting our GoFundMe page. Here we are going to share with you our vision and manifesto for the Blue Lotus Sanctuary in the hopes that you'd be so kind to support us on this journey of growth.  Our ultimate vision is to create a community for those who have had enough of the mundane consumerism lifestyle and crave a deeper connection with the earth and all its wonderful inhabitants. This sanctuary's purpose will be to create a harmonious and sustainable environment for the future generations to grow up in. A place of knowledge, teaching and tradition. Where valuable skills are passed down. A place supportive of the true entrepreneur. Wed consider conjoining with communities with similar principles, on a global scale. The 3D perspective of this dream would be a community that lives off of the earth in the most compassionate ways possible. Doing the best we possibly can to support the eco system. Building homes from all natural materials and fully sustaining ourselves with the approach of permaculture practices. Gardens upon gardens of luscious non-GMO produce. Thriving on a predominantly plantbased diet. A safe space for like minded people to unite and learn.  What we're aiming to offer within the first 5 years: Land where people can collectively grow beautiful, more organic than organic produce. A sacred space that can cater for gatherings and "woke" events. An established "tribe" whom can support one another. A home for all custodians of the land What we're aiming to offer after all ground works have been put into place: Multiple workshops that provide immersive experience about permaculture, sustainable living and wisdom teachings. Space to build eco homes and houses Stays free of charge. We are currently raising funds to acquire the land where this vision can be anchored. Where we are now?  We are currently at the first stage of fundraising, where we need to acquire the land. We are looking for between 3.5 - 5 acres with a water source, a bit of woodland and either an old farmhouse or a barn we can convert. We are looking at the areas of Somerset and Devon and also the Republic of Ireland. Auctioned farms would be the best option. The benefits include an invitation to our Solstice Ceremony event twice a year, an exclusive monthly newsletter and (of course) the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping to birth this life-enhancing, earth-protecting project into the world. :) PIONEER If you choose to donate £500 or more, you will receive: A 30% discount on all courses and workshops offered by us. Private use of the facilities available on the land on selected days. Plus all the same privileges as Friends. GUARDIANS Generous donations of £1000 - £10,000 will give you Guardian status. You will receive: A share of our produce and use of our Sacred Space free of exchange. Invitations to our annual events and gatherings. Monthly Report on our progress and projects.
