Help Build Homes in Mexico

WE ARE a team of architects, builders, family, and friends, including volunteers from:
> Alloi Architecture + Construction
> AB Design Studio Inc. 
> The Delta Sigma Phi, Epsilon Pi chapter at Woodbury University
> Santa Barbara Outrigger Canoe Club &
> Yardi

We are teaming up with the non-profit, Project Mercy, to build THREE HOMES for very needy families living on the outskirts of Tijuana Mexico, ALL IN ONE DAY (June 27th, 2015). 

THE GOAL of this project is to come together as a community to improve the lives of people who really need our assistance and compassion, and in doing so, to help empower an entire community for a lifetime.

WE ARE WORKING to raise the remaining funds needed for the materials to construct one additional home. The families have already been selected and are really hoping we can pull this off for them.

WE HAVE ALREADY RAISED OVER $9,000 in direct donations (not shown on this page) - enough to build two families new homes and a start on a third, but we know YOU, our family and friends, can join us in accomplishing SO MUCH MORE for our neighbors in need.

The Rodriguez family is one of those receiving a home on June 27th .

We will be driving from Santa Barbara and Los Angeles with all of our tools, meeting at the border at the crack of dawn, and working all day in the hot desert sun with very dusty and windy conditions and without access to running water. But guess what? We just do this for a day and get to return to our homes and hot showers afterwards. The families we are building homes for live in these conditions every day. Without Project Mercy homes they live in often unsafely constructed shacks on dirt floors and are subject to flooding, snakes, scorpions, and other hazards.
