Chiropractic Mission 2014
Dominican Republic and Haiti
At the end of this September a group of Chiropractic Doctors and Students will be teaming up to serve a humanitarian mission to the people of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
I will spend 8 days with this group as we examine and treat potentially tens of thousands of underserved people from the DR and Haiti. We will be visiting clinics, orphanages, and schools to provide conservative medical care to the needy.
Mission Life International is a nonprofit organization that works to provide humanitarian aid for citizens of impoverished countries. Organizing charitable mission trips, MLI raises funds to build schools, orphanages, and homes for those in need. MLI also educates people about natural health by providing community programs that familiarize people with the benefits of drugless healthcare. MLI works with many organizations, like chiropractors, to fulfill its purpose.
As a current chiropractic student I am excited about this potential opportunity to serve and learn. Because I am in school, finances are tight as debt continues to mount and income is little to none. For this reason I am asking for your financial support to achieve my goal of serving on this humanitarian mission.
All additional funds received over the $1700 required for mission expenses will be used to purchase supplies to go directly to the Haitian orphans.
