Hello everyone! As you all know, for my whole life my sister and I have had to deal with having a mother who's ill. Through the past couple years our family has experienced an incredibly difficult roller coaster ride between back and forth hospital visits and hospice. We wish we could say that this journey is behind us, but we are still struggling with the dilemma of my mothers health today. Without everyone's incredible support throughout the years I have no idea how my family would be able to get through all we have. With that said, my mother is facing a new and extremely difficult adversity. Medicare had denied my mothers insurance back in February when she was hospitalized. She is now experiencing a huge financial Stress that we simply can't afford. With your help, even $5, we hope that we can help her to pay these bills. You have all been supportive and amazing and I want to thank you all again so much.
For those of you who don't know my mothers diagnosis; she has pulmonary hypertension, cirosis of the liver and a rare condition called budd chiari syndrome. The only chance for her to survive is to recieve a multi veliculare transplant (most of her organs). It is a tremendously hard surgery that is very time consuming and only done in either Washington DC or Ohio. Because of everything her body has been through, we're not sure if shes even a canidate anymore. She is truly a miracle and there is no medical explanation as to why she is still living today. I love my mom and hate to see her struggle with these bills. We have so many wonderful people in our lives that know we would do anything for them if they needed help. Thank you again.
