Patricia Martinez was diagnosed with Cancer in 2016 and went to be with our Lord February 14th 2018. She leaves behind 6 Children, her mother, sister, two brothers and a legacy of great strength, courage and a love for God
Patty was diagnosed while pregnant with her 6th child, baby girl Mia. Dr's advised her to abort the pregnancy so that she could start treatment immediately but Patty didn’t hesitate to say no. Patty carried her baby as long as she could to make sure she was born healthy and started treatment right after. Patty fought hard for 2 years to be by her babies. A battle no one saw coming. Even towards the end she amazed us and Dr's every day with her strength and abilities. When Dr's said she wouldn’t be able to, she did. When they said she'd stop talking, she yelled and sang. When they said she'd pass by Friday, she went the following Wednesday.
Through Patty's battle she expressed that she would pray to God to ease our pain and bring us comfort. Ours not her's. Patty left us on Valentine's Day to remind us how much she loved us.
"Sacred is the prayer that asks for nothing, oh
While seeking to give thanks for every breath we take, oh Blessed are we inside this prayer For in the new world, we will be there"
Patty is with our Lord. No more pain and watching over her children.
