Belladonnas Kickass Derby Tour

We are the Belladonnas, a woman's roller derby team from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. We come from many different personal and professional backgrounds, but we all train hard and put a lot of time and effort into our sport. It is a real labour of love, as we pay to play and volunteer our time to keep our league running. We have worked hard and overcome adversity (like a leaky arena, player injuries, and a perpetual shortage of funds) to become one of the dominant teams in our province.

UPDATE:

The tournament we are participating in now is called the West Coast Dust Up, and it features the Terminal City All-Stars, the Anarchy Angels, the Thompson Okanagan All-Star Team (T.O.A.S.T.) and us, your Red Deer Belladonnas. The tournament will take place July 13 & 14 at the Cloverdale Curling Rink in Surrey, BC.

We are really excited for this great opportunity to test our mettle against some of the very best teams in Western Canada. We are training hard, and with the date closing in, we are still hoping to fundraise a little bit more money to help us with the costs of bus travel from Red Deer to Surrey and back again, plus the expense of accommodations.

We really appreciate the huge community support we have received so far. Thank you so much for helping our team get to BC.
