Becky's Blood Clots

I have a rare blood clotting disorder known as lupus anticoagulant antibodies or antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. Praise The Lord it was discovered before it was too late for me! I went into the hospital in November 2012 with neck pain that was actually a blood clot in my jugular. I also had one in my left lung. My clotting disorder was diagnosed a few weeks later, after spending a week in the hospital and seeing more doctors than I can remember!

Lack of quality health insurance because of a lack if funds before all of this has left me with a hefty credit card balance from bills to Sarasota Memorial and various doctors and laboratories. The hospital worked with me and drastically decreased my bills but I am still left with a chunk of debt. I also have monthly bills from follow up appointments, blood draws every 3 weeks or so and lifelong Coumadin use. My life has changed in many ways now that I am on blood thinners (i.e. low Potassium in my diet, careful of bleeding/bruising, shoudn't have children on the Coumadin) but I am greatful to be alive and am working through it all.

I have worked very hard over the last few years to make sure my credit card debt was at $0 and in the end, I was forced to use those cards to pay off this life event. My goal for this fund is my exact credit card balance at this time. I know we all have financial strains and I'm not any different from anyone else, but I could really use any help that could be given, even just a couple bucks. I also want to be upfront in saying that 10% of any donations I receive will go to my church tithe as I wouldn't be here without Jesus saving my life before those blood clots took me away for good.
