Beat eating disorders! sponsored skydive

Hi, my name is Fran. I am 16 years old and I am going to be doing a sponsored skydive for a charity very close to my heart. https://beateatingdisorders.org.uk ,with all proceeds being donated to the charity. This past year and throughout the coronavirus pandemic has been a struggle for so many people. Including myself. Eating disorders are a serious mental health condition ,which are becoming increasingly more common. As a young person who has experienced what this horrible condition is like, I now believe it is my chance to change something and spread awareness. This is why I have decided to fundraise for this amazing charity and face my fears by jumping out of a plane!Eating disorders are glamorised by the media and so many platforms put out distorted images and messages to so many young and old people. This is why we need to spread positivity and show that beautiful is you! Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental health condition and it is said that at any one time over 700,000 people in the uk have a diagnosed eating disorder. This NEEDS to change. Therefore by creating this awareness I truly hope something can change. Soon, before another life is affected. So just before I go, Ill leave you with this.
