We applied for a grant that has a matching component, so when the time comes we will need your help to raise $1000. IF we are approved, I will let you know.
I've increased the dollar amount needed, because we will need a shelter sooner than later. Every penny we get will go into getting cats spayed and neutered and either released back into their colony (ferals) or adopted if they are suitable for pets. If we can secure a centrally located building, it would go a long way in helping keep these cats safe while they recover or wait for their new homes.
Even if you can only give $1, it will buy at least one can of cat food. $5 can feed 5+ cats, and so on. If 50 people give just $1, we can pay for a spay/neuter surgery. If 50 people give $5, we can spay/neuter up to 10 cats!
