<div><strong>Nature is our adventure park</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Resele is surrounded by forests, dramatic river valleys and the Ångermanälven. For a child from an urban environment, simply entering these forests can be an adventure in itself.
</div>
<div>This is the natural habitat of Swedish wildlife such as moose, foxes, bears, wolves and wolverines. Our aim is not to turn nature into a theme park, but to give children and parents the opportunity to discover it safely and responsibly.
</div>
<div>Every season offers something different. Summer can bring hiking, swimming, fishing and exploring the forests. Winter opens the door to skiing, sledding, ice fishing, dog-sledding and other activities that many children – and adults – may never otherwise have the opportunity to experience.
</div>
<div>Barnhotellet (The Children´s Hotel) in Resele will therefore be about more than accommodation. It will be about discovering, experiencing and creating memories together – for young and old alike.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our vision</strong>
</div>
<div>The Children’s Hotel aims to be a safe place where single parents and their children can rest, play and make memories together – without worrying about money.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What we offer:</strong>
</div>
<div>A cosy and fun stay in a newly built children’s hotel.
</div>
<div>Meals and a sense of community.
</div>
<div>Play and nature experiences in beautiful Resele, in the municipality of Sollefteå.
</div>
<div>Time for rest and tranquillity.
</div>
<div>A variety of activities near the accommodation, all year round.
</div>
<div>All of this is completely free of charge for families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Farm in Resele</strong>
</div>
<div>We have been gifted a beautiful property – a former farmhouse in the centre of Resele – to our foundation. It is perfect for transforming into a children’s hotel – but the old barn needs to be demolished and a new one built. The new building will be adapted to create a child-friendly and exciting environment for families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>With your help, we can:</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>build a new hotel with rooms with a playful atmosphere.
</li>
<li>create communal spaces for play and rest.
</li>
<li>build simple kitchen and bathroom facilities.
</li>
<li>purchase special bed furniture.
</li>
<li>design the room’s environment with the help of children.
</li>
<li>organise activities for the children.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How will the money be used?</strong>
</div>
<div>Demolition and building permits cost approximately 52,000 SEK. See the handwritten copy from the Sollefteå Building Committee dated June 2025.
</div>
<div>An environmental assessment has been carried out and is attached to the planning application. Design proposals are in place, but we must take the landscape into account.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The money is also used for:</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Social media content and information
</li>
<li>Architectural and engineering services
</li>
<li>Environmental and energy requirements
</li>
<li>Government fees
</li>
<li>Building contractors
</li>
<li>Quality and sustainability monitoring
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Health and safety</strong>
</div>
<div>The financial transactions are monitored with the help of a local auditor, Block Revisionsbyrå AB in Sollefteå, and reported annually in a summary.
</div>
<div>Your donation goes entirely towards realising the Children’s Hotel in Resele.
</div>
<div>Other examples of what the funds can cover once the project is complete:
</div>
<div>500 SEK: food for a family during their stay.
</div>
<div>1,000 SEK: bed linen and towels for a family room.
</div>
<div>5,000 SEK: part of a bunk bed or furniture.
</div>
<div>10,000 SEK: help with building a family room.
</div>
<div>Every krona makes a difference.
