Barbara Auritt Recovery Fund

Donation protected
In late June (2016) one of our favorite members of the congregation at The Church of the Holy Trinity (CHT), Rittenhouse Square, Barbara Auritt, suffered a debilitating stroke. Barbara has been a parishioner and volunteer at CHT for over 30 years.  She was married at CHT in February of 1988 and has been a faithful participant in the life of the parish community, especially in the Altar Guild.  In the Center City neighborhood of Rittenhouse Square, Barbara has been a friend to everyone and a caregiver for many in the community.

She has been a licensed Real Estate agent for years with Berkshire Hathaway, a frequent customer of Little Pete’s,  where occasionally she would hold forth on just about everything. Even in her demanding rehabilitation, she remains funny, accepting, prayerful, and determined to stage a full recovery.

In order to reach a full recovery, Barbara is in need of months and months of rehab; however, her recovery will require lots and lots of dollars to pay for her healthcare.  Therefore, The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square has setup a fundraiser campaign, the “Barbara Auritt Recovery Fund,” and we hope to raise $30,000 in a very short time as a way to insure continued care for Barbara’s long-term recovery process.

Barbara Auritt has been much loved at The Church of the Holy Trinity and now is the time to give witness to that parish-wide love. At the same time, as we support her rehab, reaching our goal of $30,000 can be a way to inspire Barbara to break through to a full recovery and return to her beloved CHT community.

We will all be very grateful for your help on behalf of Barbara.
