Please help sponsor the centro educativo Dr Miguel Paz Barahona in Tela honduras. PreK-6th grade (4yo-12yo)
I currently volunteer/teach english at the school and I would like to try and do a little more for them by finding sponsors to help me provide a Backpack, Uniform and school supplies for the new school year (February 2015) to those who can not afford one.
There are many many children who come to school and do not have all they require to start the school year. For these children i'd like to have a uniform and Backpack with supplies available to those children that can't afford one.
the cost to provide a uniform is $10 (white shirt,Navy pants) and Backpack is $20.
Previous completed projects
*Last year your donations provided school lunches until the end of the school year (November 28,2014) we fed anywhere from 10-16 students daily.
*We were able to renovate the Pre-K area
*We painted the entire school including cafeteria
*. Your Donations sent the kids to the House of culture to see a play on safety and not speaking to strangers
*There are photos and videos of the 2014 school year
