Ballston United

Over recent years, the Ballston Town Boards have refused to listen to town residents on the future direction of our town. A comprehensive master plan was developed in 2005 with the input of the community to maintain a rural environment with the small town charm that has made the town of Ballston so great. Yet the town has repeatedly voted in contradiction to the comprehensive plan and the direction provided by our residents, bringing intensive developement and infrastructure to rural and agricultural areas that were to be maintained as such.

Our farming community needs your help to protect the rural character and ag land in the Town of Ballston.  Our prior Town Boards and Town Attorneys respected the will of the people and put laws and restrictions in place to prevent exactly what this Town Board and its current attorney are doing by ignoring those very laws.  Our Town is not alone in this fight! Acres of Farmland all over NY State and the nation are being gobbled up by development every single day! Please help us to stop the destruction of farms in our town by contributing today.

We need your help now more than ever if we wish to stand a chance to keep this town the way it's supposed to be.  These donations will go directly toward legal fees/initiatives/and programs to fight against the Town of Ballston, and get our town back under the control of the people who live here and back under the constaints set in the comprehensive plan.  Any unused funds will be paid forward to other not for profit farmland preservation groups fighting the good fight.
