Ballerina Dreams

I am Grace Hudson of Nixa, MO.  I am 12 years old and working toward my dream of being a ballerina. I take lessons at Credo Dance Academy in Springfield, MO. My parents  are working hard to fund the lessons 5 days per week and keep me in pointe shoes.  I have learned about a ballet competition in Dallas, TX in February 2013 called the Youth America Grand Prix.  My dance teacher and studio director competed in this when she was 17.  She has inspired me. My need for funds will cover my entry fees, costume purchase or rental, transportation costs, lodging costs and food.  This competition in February is a semi-final with finals in New York in April 2013.  We have no way of knowing whether or not I'll make it to finals.  We only know that I am working very hard for this opportunity.
