Emergency Fund for Bahsoun Family

On the 13th of September an explosion happened in the clinic of my father

 

 

 

Background story :

All functions of daily life have stopped because of the current crisis in Lebanon. Due to the shortage in electricity and petrol, my father, out of necessity to keep his dental clinic open, bought a small generator with money he saved for emergencies. On the 13th of September he got a call at 4pm from a patient, he finished his meal at home and went to his clinic, surely there was no electricity so he had to use the generator. After finishing his operation on the patient, his colleague informed him that the generator was leaking. He stopped everything and went to turn it off when the explosion happened. We still don’t know the reason why or how the explosion happened.

 

Both my father and his colleague sustained severe third degree burns and are in critical condition. They are currently in the emergency room due to an unavailability of space in the Intensive Care unit of the hospital.

 

 

 

 

Why We Need help & How We Will Use the Funds:

The current economic crisis in the country makes the hospital expenses and cost of care untenable for both of our families. We will share the funds between both my father and his colleague. The funds will go towards any costs for operations, surgery, the stay in intensive care, medicine, rehabilitation/recovery.
