Alaska Healing Hearts Video Expedition

I've been offered a once-in-a-lifteime opportunity to travel to the great state of Alaska to film, edit, and publish videos to help raise awarness for and drive support to a non-profit veteran outreach organization, Alaska Healing Hearts.  

I am not making money on this...I'm doing this so that good people can better help our nation's wounded warriors. 

Through this adventure, I'll get to see a little of the state I've dreamt about since childhood.

To make this happen, I will need to acquire lots of video equipment.  For those of you that know me well, you might know I've been producing videos for the Maryland Park Service and the Maryland DNR for a year or so...but I use their equipment to do so.  I cannot and would not take their equipment on this venture.

My own equipment is quite antiquated...the quality of photos I can generate is quite poor and my camera is incapable of shooting video. 

The equipment that I need all tolled will be about $6,000.00...

I've saved some money, and could in time buy this piece and that piece, but I'm tragically short of making it all happen in time for this shoot.

I'm working double shifts, taking any side jobs, and doing what I must, but still it's not enough...that's where you come in.
