Back Surgery For Bella

This is Bella, our 5 year old miniature dachshund. We got her from a family friend, she was the last of her litter and she's been with us since. She's a curious, funny, goofy dog and has an attitude twice her size. On Novemebr 26th she suddenly was unable to walk, after a trip to the vet it was found that her herniaded disc pinched and (possibly) ruptured. Making her unable to walk on her own. She was given meds to lower swelling and reduce pain. The vet said that bowel movements and the ability to eat would be crucial to her surviving this. As soon as we got home, and as soon as we set her outside to see if she'd go. She went poop! Score 1! We took her inside, gave her the first dose of meds, it went great! Score 2! Then, we got her to eat and drink! Score 3! This little girl is a fighter! Her back surgery is a near $5,000-$10,000 surgery. Thats a price we can't afford... So I've come on my own accord to GoFundMe to try and raise money to help our baby... Whatever the outcome is, I'm going to try my hardest to help Bellie (Bella) be able to walk again or get a wheelchair!
