BackPackItUp

My name is Addison, I'm 11 years old and in 5th grade at Augusta Ranch Elementary School.  I'm raising money to buy new backpacks and school supplies for kids that can't afford it. 

Every year my parents get me a new book bag and fill up a grocery cart for my brother and I full of supplies for the year.  I know it can get pretty expensive and that a lot of parents can't afford to do it and then it falls on the teachers to buy them. 

Each kid will get a new backpack filled with all the supplies they would need for the year.  I'm going to start with my school and hopefully get enough money to give backpacks to other schools too.  I'm starting now so that I can buy the backpacks and supplies over the summer and have them ready for next year.  

I think all kids should start off a new school year with a fresh back pack and supplies.  I know it makes me feel good and I want to make other kids feel good also.  Thank you!!!!
