Back to Honduras!

Hola friends and family! As many of you may already know, I am now working as a missionary teacher here in Comayagua, Honduras and couldn't be more excited about the task at hand!

I truly believe education is the key to the endless cycle of poverty. With that mission in mind, the Missioners of Christ and I have offered two precious Kindergarten students from our Sponsorship program the gift of a free Catholic education. With our vision in mind, we are hopeful that these two students, now being properly educated and formed in their faith, will one day become great disciples to their country. In order to keep this mission going, we are in need of sponsors who through their generosity can continue to provide them with their education. The school where I am employed is Institute Catholico Bilingue Nuestra Senora Reina de la Paz, which is located here in the city of Comayagua. There are many bilingual schools in Comayagua, but none that offer a Catholic education for students. Our school is in desperate need of English books, a school printer and copier, and internet connection for our classrooms. There is enormous potential for these students to learn, but very few resources. Therefore, I have set a new goal amount to help fund educational resources and our Sponsorship students.
