FIRE! Pets DIED/USN VET lost ALL!

RETIRED NAVY FAMILY MOVES TO VIRGINIA BEACH FOR NEW JOB AND LOSES EVERYTHING IN HOUSE FIRE!!

THE BACHERT FAMILY LOST EVERYTHING IN A HOUSE FIRE--INCLUDING THEIR 2 DOGS, 2 CATS AND THEIR FRIENDS DOG.  NO INSURANCE. 

The Hampton Roads Military Relocation Team had just spent weeks helping them find the right rental home and now we are begging for YOUR help!

They were due to move in on December 1, but the landlord let them in a little early.  Unfortunately,  it didn't occur to them to push back the renters insurance date. 

They left the load of their belongings and left their dogs in crates and went to grab the last of their belongings.  While they were gone, a fire started in the kitchen. The fire completely destroyed the house and everything in it--including all 5 animals. 

Because they didn't have renters insurance,  they forfeit their security deposit, will be responsible for the owners insurance deductible, and are facing fines for having 5 animals instead of without a kennel license (one dog was a friend's who was helping them move).

In order to find a new home, they need a new security deposit. They have nothing but the clothes on their backs. 

The Hampton Roads Military Relocation Team has set up this fund to help the family who has no home, no money, and have these bills now hanging over their heads. At this time, monetary donations are the only thing we can handle. With no home, there is no place to store things.
