Baby Frank Zillins was born on Wednesday, October 5th at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. His parents are Adam and Jenny Zillins. Adam and Jen were married in October of 2016 and Frank is their first child.
On Wednesday October 4th it was determined that Frank had cardiomyopathy (abnormal heart muscle) and sent Jenny to Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The doctors attempted to do everything they can to alleviate the problem but because of his low heart rate he was put on an ECMO machine (Heart/Lung Bypass) to assist him with his heart and lung function. He can only be kept on the ECMO machine for a week so on Sunday, October 22nd he will need to be removed from the machine.
We are in need of prayers first and foremost but also money to offset the expenses that are being accrued through what medical insurance won't cover and Adam and Jen's time off of work. Adam and Jen are not being paid during this difficult time. We need to assist them so they can be focused on their son and not on paying the bills.
