Baby Jason's Heart Journey

This is my Grandbaby Jason, he has hypoplastic left heart syndrome.  He loves Elmo and dancing around the living room in his mommy and daddy's arms.  He has the warmest smile and sweetest disposition of any baby I've ever seen.  People are just naturally drawn to him, even before knowing his story. He just turned one a couple of weeks ago, and has been through more in his short life than most people in a lifetime, including 2 open heart surgeries.  We have been told by his surgeons at Children's Hospital that there wasn't much more hope for him, because his pulmonary arteries have prevented them from being able to continue on with the next surgery that he needs in order to survive.  Jason's mom and dad did not give up hope and asked that his records be sent all over the U.S. in order to find that one surgeon who could help. Well last week our prayers were answered and a surgeon at Stanford University in California believes he can help baby Jason. Obviously when you have a child with special needs, money is always tight.  We are looking for donations to fund this family for food, lodging, transportation and to be able to maintain their current house while they are away. The last time Jason had surgery they were gone for 2 months.  Our main issue right now is time, he is scheduled for surgery on September 13th, so we are in a desperate situation here. We also need donations to cover any medical costs that the insurance will not cover.
