Support Baby J. J.

Donation protected

Meet J.J., the 1st baby born in 2015 at the Evans Army Community Hospital in Colorado. This sweet little baby was born with SCID (Severe Combined Immunodeficiency) also known as the “bubble boy disease”.  Infants diagnosed with SCID develop infections during the first few months of life that can be life-threatening. J.J. currently remains at the hospital in a sterile “bubble” room to help prevent infection until he can safely undergo chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. J.J. and his military family need your donations, prayers, and support! Since J.J. was born in Colorado; he was screened for SCID; however, all states do not test newborns for this disease. Without early diagnoses and treatment; SCID can be fatal.  Please donate to help J.J. and his military family with medical expenses and to also raise awareness of the need for SCID Newborn Screening in every state.
