Philippines 2018

Hey, thanks for stopping by.

 Whether you’re here because I invited you or someone else sent you here, I appreciate the fact you’re reading this and considering helping me.

I have three questions I want to ask you before we get started here;

1.       Do you believe sex trafficking is wrong?

2.       Does it need to be stopped?

3.       If you could do something about it, would you?

If your answer to any (hopefully all) of these is yes, then I can definitely use your help. I’m raising the funds to pay for a missions trip to the Philippines with a team from my church (Victory World Church), and every dollar you contribute gets me closer to that goal. I believe if you see a need, and you’re presented with the opportunity to do something about it that you should. On this trip, my team will partner with an organization and give women who have been trapped in the sex industry a chance to get out and reclaim their lives.

This 10 day trip to the Philippines will be hosted by our partners at Wipe Every Tear. We’ll be working with this organization to minister to girls that have come out of the sex industry. Wipe Every Tear provides housing, food and schooling for women who are transitioning away from the sex industry lifestyle. The ladies are housed in several homes throughout Manila, Philippines and we will spend time with the girls doing various things in the houses to bless and serve them. For 2 days we will travel to Pampanga and spend time each night walking the streets and talking with girls in the bars and showing them the love of Jesus and offering them a way out of their current lifestyle.

Wipe Every Tear started in a high school teacher’s classroom. As a basketball coach and a father to five daughters and a son, Kenny Sacht had his heart broken for the injustices of the sex trade. It started with the commitment to support one girl. Then everything changed when we met Rebecca Angeles, our Filipino director. One girl quickly became four. Then in 2012 Wipe Every Tear secured the Hope House, the first home for our lovely girls. By providing the good news of a safe place to live, a warm meal, education and discipleship, the lives of young women and girls are being restored. We have grown from one house and four girls to currently caring for over 70 girls with six houses in two countries.

This trip only happens with your support. I am privileged to have the opportunity to directly speak and give women the chance to leave their current situations where they ha e been trapped and forced into sex trafficking. Please consider helping me reach my financial goal in the journey.

Thank you, and God bless.
