BK's Farewell Tour #1

Donation protected

About 3 years ago Brian Kosior had some issues with his heart that required a pacemaker to get him right. During the procedure he developed an infection that quickly went septic. After clearing up the infection he immediately contracted another. The process of clearing the infections caused his kidneys to fail. The issue with his heart caused his liver to fail. With these three major organs no longer working he is not a candidate for any organ transplants. In fact, even minor surgery is out of the question.

Sadly, the doctors gave him six months... that was two months ago.

Right now, Brian is doing okay although struggling to keep an infection at bay. He’s in and out of the hospital regularly, but he is himself, laughing, joking, and enjoying the NFL and NHL. So now is the time to visit, while we still have Brian. More importantly, while he can enjoy our company!

Over the weekend of January 26, 2018, college, high school, work, and golfing friends will be gathering in Southern Pines, North Carolina to visit with Brian. We have rented a house to make this as comfortable as possible for BK.

About 25 people have indicated that they will be attending. If everyone donates $100 then we will be able to cover the expenses. We are asking for donations from everyone attending and for those that cannot.

Any funds left over will be added to Brian's son Erik's college fund. so please, please, please donate as much as you can and as soon as you can!!!

In case you are wondering about the picture, this is Brian and me from 1981, his freshman year at State University of New York, College at Oswego. Brian was my next-door neighbor. For nearly 40 years we have been like brothers, except we don’t fight.

This is where the big gathering will be:

Caddy Shack I
Caddy Shack 2

We reached our initial goal of $2500 in less than three days. So the party is on!!!! But let's keep it going by adding even more money to Erik's college fund!
