Details:
On Wednesday 11th October, 2017, staff from Blakehurst High School will be running/walking to work to raise funds for the Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia.
 
We aim to raise $2000!

About Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia:
Throughout Australia, over 900 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer each year. Their survival rate has increased significantly over the past 20 years, and when all cancer types are considered, the survival rate 5 years after diagnosis is 81% for this population group. The improved survival rates, which have occurred despite stable cancer incidence rates, are due to medical and technological advances. 

The Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children's has benefited from the $7.7million that has been donated to them from Kids with Cancer Foundation.
