Legal Aid For Brian and Casey

I'll start by saying that we are STRUGGLING hard to do this on our own. I am not asking for a handout, but rather a hand up.
A little over two months ago, I was in a single car wreck, which was my own fault. There were bad decisons made that evening that resulted in criminal charges against me. The charges that came after the wreck are aggressively severe.
Im happy to disclose in private whatever information you'd like regarding these pending charges.
During this time, my ex wife has seized the opportunity to try and ruin our lives.
Firstly, shes banned me from seeing my son. Ive been to court twice to get rights estsblished, but the attorney who represented me failed to file paperwork with the courts, resulting in me having no rights to him. I havent seen him in over two months.
She also took it upon herself to contact Jadens mom, who hasnt made efforts to see him in 9 years since she ran away to Wisconsin, and urged her her to file for custody of Jaden.
She has also taken it upon herself to contact Casey's ex husband, who has consequently filed for full custody of both her kids. Im currently being treated as a danger to her children.
This is a deliberate and spiteful attempt to hurt me any way possible and to drive a wedge between Casey and myself.
We have a chance to hire an attorney to represent me in the criminal charges. His retainer fee is $1000 and a flat rate of $1500 total. This is substantially less than the original attorney we hired.
We have already hired two additional firms to represent us in the matters regarding Jaden, Liam and Isabelle.
We cannot hire this more affordable atrorney without the new retainer, all while paying two other attorneys their own retainers.
This is last ditch effort to attempt to soften to blow to our finances. Without good legal counsel in the criminal matters, we dont have a leg to stand on in our custody cases.
I love my family and am desperate to keep us together. Im currently 75 days sober and actively involved in counseling and Alcoholics Anonymous. Im trying to better myself as well as my circumstance.
If you're in a position to donate, we would appreciate any and all the help we can get at this point. My wife and kids are my life, and this witch hunt is driving us to the brink of insanity.
