Help the Ayala-Alvarez Family in PR

I received word from my uncle last week that they were in desperate need for two generators- one for his home and one for my Abuelita. My aunt is diabetic and needs to store her insulin and other medications, and my grandmother is 94 years old with her own medical issues. 

I spoke to my uncle this evening and he says it's becoming increasingly more difficult to get ice for my abuela. She needs it for her day to day functioning in the heat at her age. She is getting by but says it's getting difficult for her. Sending money won't help because there is no where to buy a generator- there is nothing left except the really pricey ones.

I didn't want to ask for help but I am forced to since I do not have the funds to buy two generators myself at this time, or to ship them at the high costs. We have some funds that I can put towards it but need assistance covering the rest. Any leftover funds will go to cover medicines, food and other necessities.

I am asking that if you have it to spare, please consider donating any amount to go towards this. I HATE asking for money so please forgive the request.
