Avigayil’s Bat Mitzvah Project:

Hi,

   My name is Avigayil. In a few weeks from now, I will be celebrating my bat mitzvah. For my bat mitzvah project, I have chosen to support an organization called Renewal. My father joined together with other members of the Baltimore community to help people in need of a kidney transplant. In honor of my bat mitzvah, I have chosen to be a part of this mitzvah. Firstly I would like to encourage anyone who is healthy and willing to help save another life, to contact Renewal to get tested to see if they can donate a kidney. If you are not able to, that’s okay....you can still help! I am trying to raise as much money as I can for Renewal to help save many lives.

   Renewal is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to assisting people suffering from kidney disease. They are there for every patient and their family at every stage of the challenging journey towards health. Renewal provides many services to both the donor and recipient. So please join with me in this special mitzvah by either seeing if you can donate a kidney or by donating money to this amazing organization!! Your donation is tax deductible.
