RAISING MONEY TO HELP REDUCE THE NUMBERS OF HOMELESS VETERANS WITHIN AUSTRALIA
Warrior Racing Ltd runs events that not only ensure AWARENESS of the major challenges faced by our Military, Veterans and First Responders but also to RAISE FUNDS to assist the amazing organizations that provide the often life-saving support needed to this demographic.
AUSTRALIAN HOMELESS VETERANS, an arm of Warrior Racing dedicated to assisting homeless veterans, works alongside organizations such as Overwatch, Bravery Trust, many RSL sub-branches, and more, to ensure any homeless veteran is provided the accommodation and initial care required to get them back on the road.
With approx 5,800 homeless Veterans throughout Australia (https://www.sbs.com.au/news/5-800-defence-veterans-are-homeless-in-australia) HELP is needed NOW, more than ever.
The impact of being without a permanent home is immense. This often leads to breakdowns in family relationships, health deterioration, an increase in mental health issues, and an inability to hold down a job to earn money to buy the basic essentials of life, food, and water.
The funds raised enable actions to be taken that SAVE LIVES!
