Help Aunt Connie not lose her home

Donation protected
Hello friends, and family, AUGUST 8, 2018

Aunt Connie needs our help more than ever. She is heart broken from the very recent loss of her husband, Dave, July 2018 and her sister/best friend, Aunt Kathy, December 2017. Within the past 1 year and 7 months, our family has lost a total of 8 family members. Unfortunately, with many sicknesses you do not get all of the paper work prepared, you are always praying for more time and don’t want to face the reality of the upcoming heartbreak and you are exhausted. Thus, my reason for this update is that I do not want Aunt CONNIE to lose her modest home. Unfortunately, this is a strong possibility due to lack of money and paperwork delays thus discrepancies. A little about Aunt CONNIE, She has worked tirelessly for 15 years caring for the elderly and people with special needs and her sister and husband simultaneously this past year. She lives in a small town and the wage is slightly above minimum wage. Her heart for people is worth so much and people in the health workforce needs her because she is most compassionate and enthusiastic health care worker I have ever seen. Her patients and employer just love her. Let’s come together and help her NOT LOSE HER HOME and be healthy enough to encourage and help her patients.. She has her own health challenges which have been magnified due to all of the tragedies of the past 2 years. Any financial help will lessen her burden. God reminds us to help our widows. Let’s share our blessings and Honor our Lord. The photo shared above is the victory photo of him beating his lung cancer just a few years ago.
He is at peace now. I am honored to say he was baptized last October and is celebrating with Our Father in Heaven.
Much Love and appreciation, Michelle

Aunt Connie did not want the following to be mentioned in the original Go Fund Me. However, I feel this is unfair to her, and it needs to be mentioned because she is responsible for any outstanding monies. Aunt Connie’s story for just this past year includes her husband, Dave’s horrific terminal diagnosis of windpipe cancer and loss of a lung, the deaths of 2 sisters, a Brother n law, and an Aunt; experiencing a hurricane, and a broken leg. Along with such terrible loss, she has been the main caretaker for Dave, driving him 2 hours one way for surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. During the same time frame and a year prior, she cared for Aunt Kathy, coordinating doctor's visits, hospital visits, and nursing home care and all of her clothing, etc needs. Aunt Kathy was Aunt Connie’s best friend. The heartbreak this has brought to her is awful. To summarize, due to Dave's illness and demands on their finances to help with the illnesses of Dave and Aunt Kathy, they need our help. They now only have Connie's income which is below poverty level. The physical and emotion demands of these past two years, as you can imagine have been very difficult for Connie’s wellbeing. We (family and friends) are trying to pull together to help them. Thank you all immensely for the donations that have already been given. Please continue to pray for healing for our entire family. With love and Appreciation, Michelle
Original story is below:
The words, "A Heart of Gold" will be written on her memorial stone. A woman who could encourage us all with just an I love you, a smile, a glass of sweet tea, or a trip to the fishing pond. My Aunt Kathy was known to all as a woman of contentment. She had very little in terms of materialism. Family was important. She would give you her last dollar if you needed it. The family needs these funds because Aunt Kathy never let a bill go outstanding. Everyone in her little town knew her because of her integrity to not owe anyone money. Fortunately, she did have a small life insurance policy  however, it was not enough to cover the funeral expenses.  The rest of our very small family would like to cover this debt.  Unfortunately, there is not a lot of money to help. I know a lot of you felt as if you knew Aunt Kathy or knew her personally because of our love and prayers for her and her love for people.  We've all been praying for Aunt Kathy and her family for the past 10 years. Her  husband, Gene, passed after a double amputee of his legs and cancer. She cared for him night and day, prior to that she cared for my grandmother because they lived in the same town. Aunt Kathy became disabled after caring for her husband and her mother and lived on a meager monthly budget from her disability, yet, as mentioned would give to anyone who asked and would open her home to anyone.   Let's all pull together and help with this debt that Aunt Kathy would sure make sure was paid in full as soon as possible. Even $5 or $10 from each of you would add up. Thank you for your consideration.
